Band 6 Respiratory Physiotherapist Required

Who are we recruiting: Band 6 Respiratory Physiotherapist to work in the
Where will you be working: Cancer Centre in the Belfast City Hospital.
Hours of work: 8.30 to 4.30 Monday to Friday (however candidate should be available to work weekends and on call if required)
Rates of Pay: £18.10 - £28.96
Essential Criteria:
· Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
· Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Physiotherapist
· Basic computer skills for communication, data collection and research purposes
· 2 years post registration experience working across adults to include a minimum of 8 months clinical experience in the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory patients and 4 months working in a rehabilitation setting
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
· To prioritise, assess and manage own patient caseload demonstrating specialised skills at a level appropriate to band and ability to work without direct supervision
· Where appropriate, to provide education; advice and support to patients/carers on home management
To maintain, develop and apply specialised knowledge and skills in area undertaking training as required and to be prepared to utilise these skills in teaching others
To ensure that equipment used by the Physiotherapy Service is properly maintained at all times and in line with Trust policies and guidelines and be responsible for the efficient and effective use of Trust resources
To report and deal with any accident or untoward event which should take place in any area of work where present
