MPA have been appointed by a leading prevention medicine provider in Calgary to recruit for a Family Physician to join their team. The client is a collaborative practice which specialises within providing in depth prevention, cosmetic and healthcare services.
In this role, you will have an opportunity to provide personalized case which focuses upon preventing illness and promoting healthy lifestyle changes amongst the client’s members. You will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive medical care in a team based environment.
Responsibilities:
Conducting medical assessments, making diagnoses, and developing treatment plans with a focus upon preventative care.
You will work collaboratively with other health care professionals, including nurses, dieticians, exercise specialists, and mental health professionals, to provide holistic care that focuses on our patients' overall health and well-being.
Providing recommendations to patients around facilitating healthy lifestyle changes.
Requirements
Medical Degree and Valid License to practice in the province of Alberta, or eligibility.
Board certification in Family Medicine (CCFP)
Interest in preventative, evidence-based care
Strong interpersonal skills, with a desire to work in a team environment.
There is a competitive remuneration/hourly rate for the right candidate, with take home earnings going up to $390,000 per year.
