Job description
MPA are delighted to recruit a permanent Kitchen Assistants on behalf of our client based in the Coleraine area. This position will have an immediate start available and will be based in Brookmount Nursing Home. Hours of work will be 7:45am - 6:15pm, 3-4 days per week on a rota basis.
Job Duties
· Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
· Ensuring all utensils and dishes are washed correctly and ensure they are stored appropriately.
· Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients.
· Preparing and cooking food mnce
· Correct disposal of waste/rubbish
· Cleaning food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
· Checking and recording food temperatures

Essential Criteria
· Previous experience working within a kitchen environment
· Willingness to undergo Access NI clearance
· Flexibility to work a range of shifts to suit the needs of the client including weekends
· A great team player
Desirable Criteria
· Basic food hygiene qualification

Rate of pay is £11.88 per hour
