MPA are excited to continue working alongside our public sector client and have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Team Leader to work in nursery based in a hospital setting in Belfast. The nursery cares for 20 children aged 2-5 years old.
Hours of Work: The nursery operates between hours of 7:30am-6pm Monday-Friday (shift pattern will apply with full time hours)
Pay Rate: £12.86 per hour
What is a typical Day to Day?
· Be responsible for the support and supervision of all staff, students and children.
· In conjunction with the supervisory staff take an active part in planning and evaluating a caring and stimulating environment which meets the individual needs of all children
· Devise various rotas when required
· Monitor and keep records of staff’s annual leave, time in lieu and sickness
· Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere for staff, parents and visitors
What Criteria Do you need to meet?
· A minimum of 1 year’s relevant paid experience in a similar setting based in Northern Ireland or mainland UK.
· Willing to complete an Access NI Check
· BA Hons Degree in Early Childhood Studies, or Degree level qualification in Early Years or Playwork
or
· QCF level 5 Diploma in Children’s Care Learning and Development or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Playwork
